DEVELOPMENT

South Normanton, Derbyshire

Speculative development, tenanted then sold on Practical Completion

In a joint venture with award winning Richardson Capital, a 170,000sq.ft industrial investment was acquired, located less than 1mile from Junction 28 of the M1 motorway in South Normanton. Each tenant was relocated following which the existing buildings were fully demolished to make way for the much acclaimed, Nickel 28 warehouse & distribution premises.

This speculative development was selectively tendered, with Winvic Construction Limited being awarded the contract. A significant earth moving and retaining design was needed to maximise the 14 acre site, on which a state of the art warehouse & distribution building of 268,200sq.ft was constructed.

Prior to completion, terms were agreed with IForce Limited, with the lease entered into and the sale to The National Farmers Union Mutual Insurance Society Limited completing immediately upon Practical Completion.
